Characteristic
A binary alloy of palladium base with yttrium added. The maximum solid solution of yttrium in palladium was 12 (at) %, and produced significant solid solution strengthening effect. There are PdY6.6, PdY8 and PdY10 alloys.
Application
It can be used as hydrogen purification material.
